Big Grin  Arsenal - Were they too young and inexperienced to keep up the challenge this season?

Arsenal were in the title race up until 3 weeks ago.... 4 draws on the trot against teams like birmingham and Wigan and are now out of the running. let me know what you all think. was there a certain turning point in their season or was it just the inexperience of youth that let them down.... whatever it was they were still one of the most entertaining teams all season and i cant wait to see how they fair next season!!!!

yes, it was a bridge too far for the young gunners whose lack of depth and shallow bench strength and inexperience of never having climbed to the summit let them down at crucial moments. some fresh blood in the close season should see them go further next season

United, with the likes of Giggs, Scholes and numerous other experienced past Premiership winners, were always going to be better when under pressure. And it showed in the last quarter of the season. Although comparable talent-wise, Arsenal just did not have the binding influence of this sort to hold together the nerve of the team when under immense pressure.

yes, i think a couple of marquee players would have held the team together and of course, gallas is not really a marquee player of any great standing and his handball against utd (needless too at that) cost the gunners the title.
