blaming the ref

wenger blames the ref for the gunners' exit from the champions league and to an extent he is justified. however, i feel he should coach his players to not try and do some underhand acts and toure's foul on babel could be a good illustration of trying to get away with a less than legal challenge.

He is not justified at all. United were denied two other penalties against Barcelona in the first leg alone but they still managed to go on and win but because it's Ronaldo and United no one cares, yet the minute Wenger starts to have a go at the referee people start getting up on their soapboxes and say he's justified. Face it Arsenal were not good enough period, and it's been the story of their season, not good enough.

RE: blaming the ref

Any English Team that gets knocked out of any Major Competion seems as though it has to put the blame somewhere else than themselves. Referee's are an easy target 'so why not let's blame them' appears to be the attitude.
