Can Bristol City do it?

I have been debating this for ages. Can they actually win promotional. It would be a dream for us, Because we only just got promotion from the League one division. But who fancies City's chances?

RE: Can Bristol City do it?

They have done better than me and many expected. To be in third? postion i the Championship more than half way into the season is a great acheivement. They're certainly big enough to be at the level there at, but i'm not sure whether they could hack it in the Premier League. If they got there though, it would be great to watch a team like that playing week in weeek out with quality teams.
Doing better than Scumthorpe anyway which is good to see Big Grin

Do not forget, 3rd but we are level top. A win could mix the table right up.

RE: Can Bristol City do it?

I think the Championship throws up some very good matches at times, there appears to be more committment by the players.
It is no doubt a very difficult League to get out of if you drop down from the Premiership.
Although at the moment they are just outside the play-offs, Ipswich Town has a great Home record, 11 wins, 3 draws from 14 matches with goal tally of 34 for and 8 against.

Certainly Bristol City are in with a shout whether they can maintain their form is questionable.

They really need to improve on their performances if they are to stand a chance of winning promotion to the Premier League. Consistency is very important. At the moment being at second place doesn't guarantee anything yet. Many teams below are still working hard and expect the horse race to heat up towards the end. It's always exciting watching them fighting for promotion.
