All credit to Wigan, as Arsenal seem determined to fritter away their lead in the Premiership after their goalless draw. Man U can go top with the game in hand and Chelsea with two in hand can put themselves to within 2 points of the top spot. Arsenal's recent form is highly suspect as the pressures of a tight domestic campaign and Europe take their toll on a young and inexperienced team.

Yep they did not play at all well against Wigan and, the only time a 2 point lead is good is when you have played the 38th League game

i think part of the reason for a dismal performance is that they are sidetracked by the possibility of european honors which is something that the gunners must be hankering after even more than the premiership title. however, it only makes the title race more exciting.
