I noticed that last night Liverpool in a champions league qualifier struggled against Standard Liege. Liverpool have had a poor pre-season in my eyes, with only a few players being signed (such as Robbie Keane). However, people talked up their challenges as pushing for third. On last nights' performance, I'm not so sure.
