Liverpool v Luton: FA Cup

Another FA tie away to Luton. Another distraction. I really wanna see RB to give our 1st team players a good rest. No disrespect for Luton but I think our "B" team will still have something in them to see off the opponent. Players like Leiva, Voronin, Momo, Pennant, Hobbs should be given some playing time.
Even if we lose, I won't be losing any sleep. We shd start mounting a more serious challenge and put in more effort in the EPL and UCL rather than FA Cup.
I'll say we'll go back with a 3-1 win.

Cheers

If you did put the fringe players in and lost, the fans wouldn't be too happy. The FA Cup and the CL are the only two titles you can realistically win as I don't see the likes of Arsenal and United dropping 10 points between now and the end of the season.

I think the best word to describe that performance was lacklustre. No disservice to Luton, they played out of their skins and were unlucky not to win it.

well, finally liverpool put it across luton and with a bit to spare. seems that they should give the cup their all and not worry too much about the league title. some silverware in the closet this season will quieten the fans and maybe even help RB stick around a bit longer.

I think it was inevitable. I had them down for 6-0 winners. But all credit to Luton for earning the draw and extra gate money they apparently need quite badly.

You would have thought they could have shown more consideration as the guy payed the players wages for the last 2 weeks out of his own pocket !!!
