MLS?
Ill watch English league before MLS any day, but I do watch MLS from time to time and I noticed that IT IS NOT what it used to be.
Crappy play and ten fans in the stands is a thing of the past. Soccer in the US is growing. Could we have a discussion forum for it? |

RE: MLS?
Yes, that seems like a good idea, S.Gerrard_Fan. How about a "World Leagues" subforum to include MLS?

RE: MLS?
Sounds good to me! And I can perhaps find a link for MLS avatars. Not that I would ever change my LFC one, but you know...

RE: MLS?
Do you think the growth of football over there will increase now that Beckham is there?
I guess the increase that you mention has been over time not since Beckham went over there, but will that help it? Free Gadgets | Free PS3 | Free iPhone | Free HDTV |

RE: MLS?
It has helped in its own way, yes, but not just because he came. Having one of the most popular and well known players on a league that has very very very few well knowns is a good thing for MLS. It didn't help that he got hurt on his eighth game, and almost his first
(for those who were watching closely ).But anyways, I remember watching MLS and teams like Chicago Fire and New York had a countable number of fans, all grouped up near centerfield. Now you get packed houses no matter who is playing. That is good to see. It is definitely coming back! |
