Only 6 games into the PL, and already the poor decisions are mounting up. Today we saw 2 definate penalties denied by poor refereeing. Robbie Keane should have a stone wall penality as Carvhalio takes him down and then does he best OJ Simpson impression. Lampard delivers in a free kick that sees the spurs right back stick his arm up and send it over the bar (the ball not his own arm!) and yet no penality.

Refereeing is really in the spotlight these days, particularly as TV pundits look to make their money that way. I missed the game at the weekend but did read about the issues you mention. It could all come to a head in the next few years.

One of the papers reported recently that UEFA are considering more on field refs including a ref at each end on the goal line! Seems like madness to me.
