Shopping Spree for Keegan

With money to spend, talks are rumored around that Keegan will be getting new players. So far 3 has already come up at his list.
Wayne Bridge (Chelsea)
Sol Campbell (Portsmouth)
Richard Dunne (Man. City)
I wonder who else will be next Wink

Sol Campbell wouldn't be a good buy unless they get him very cheap.

RE: Shopping Spree for Keegan

Well not much is left at his age but most probably Keegan was looking for someone with experience. I believe he's always the important man at central defense.

RE: Shopping Spree for Keegan

Woodgate looks like he might join Newcastle. Don't know why though as he's always getting injured. City won't get rid of Dunne and I doubt they'd want Campbell either Tongue

RE: Shopping Spree for Keegan

Think Keegan and Co; should start building a Brick wall...can not see many top defenders going to Newcastle.
I agree with red_devil52 in the fact that Woodgate is very injury prone ...another BUPA member i believe Tongue

RE: Shopping Spree for Keegan

if keegan has a lot of money he should not waste it on guys like sol campbell but instead he needs to simply buy one or at most two high quality players even if they are young and unknown. quality over quantity is what newcastle need at the moment. look at owen who is the best example of such transfers. better to invest in youth than experience
