the carling cup semis is a perfect opportunity for spurs to put one across the gunners and their best bet of winning some silverware. last season they blew it against the gunners, though with a stronger team this year, they should go for it.

I reckon a Spurs win as there's no way Senderos and Gallas will be able to cope with Berbatov and Keane. Main;y because Senderos is a bit rubbish.

Spurs are not exactly tight at the back either. I think the best Spurs can hope for is a draw.

the way that the gunners played was simply too awful and why spurs did not cash in on their poor play is a poor reflection on them. they really messed up their chances, and arsenal just had one good chance and luckily they equalized. poor show from both teams, though spurs deserved to win.

Not many can go to the Emirates and dominate like Spurs did. They were just unlucky not to score, not the fact that they were playing poorly. I reckon Spurs will win the leg at WHL.

I think you hit the nail on the head in that sentence. This is exactly why Arsenal are at the top of the table. Even when considerably outplayed, on most occasions they have been able to squeeze out an opportunity and seize it. Far too many of their opponents have squandered chances that the Gunners would have scored from.

It has set up an interesting return leg and they could be saying farewell to another domestic cup for another year at the hands of their north London rival

Ledley King is back and playing well. Arsenal have been shaky in their last few outings squeezing out draws. Spurs might go one better than their last match up where clearly they had the upper hand at the Emirates. Also, this is Spurs best and probably only chance to make a serious run for some silverware this year so they will certainly be pumped up and ready for it.
