Only a little over a week to go now and it should be a very exciting Olympics. Will the home turf advantage favour the Chinese and put them at the top of the medal table come the conclusion of the games?

I think the Chinese will go very close this time. It depends on whether smaller nations can defeat the US in disciplines they traditionally dominate, like much of the track and field etc.

Germany will be up there too
