after the disappointment of failing to qualify for europe, english football has shone in the european league with some very convincing victories over the big italian clubs. hope they can make an english team reach the final with a kind draw in the next round.

Yep the English Clubs done well in the Champions League, first time ever that England has been represented by 4 Clubs in that competition and the first time that just one Italian Club (Roma) have made the quarter-final, must say something about Italian football at the moment

it would be a pity if the next round sees all the english clubs facing each other and especially as the other four (barring barcelona) are not huge in terms of european honors experience. liverpool certainly are showing strong pedigree and the way they saw off inter is truly amazing
