Ok, following on from a discussion with Chivers, here is a rough outline of a game we hope to begin here at the forum on Boxing Day. This thread is a request for comments style post soliciting feedback that might help us hone the rules and format a little. Please post any comments or feedback in this thread. All feedback appreciated.

The game involves predicting results of the remaining English Premiership games from Boxing Day on, and all FA Cup games from Boxing Day on.

Each week (defined as Sunday to Saturday) I'll post the applicable fixtures for that week in a new thread. Participants will post their predictions in that thread for the games listed. The predictions for each game can be in one of two forms. Either,

i] a home win/away win/draw prediction. If correct this will earn the participant one point;

ii] a full score prediction (2-0, 1-3 etc.). If correct this will earn the participant 5 points;

Only one prediction per game per participant.

Points will be tallied up weekly and a league table published in a separate thread.

The winner at the end of the season will win the prize (as yet undetermined, but of about $100 value.)

Any thoughts?
