I think either Drogba or Cristiano Ronaldo will win it. If i'm honest with you I don't see why Frank Lampard is on there, he is not that good. I think John Terry will run the winner close as well!

I suppose this runs on a calendar year, Jan to Dec 2007. So they'd need to take in to consideration performances from last year's domestic season. And, you're right, van Nistelrooy was on the boil then, gary Smile

Yes, Gerrard is a solid, consistent performer but probably lacks the flights of magic we see from some of the other players on the list.

My vote would also go to Steven Gerrard, solid, compact, one of the best players currently in the world! He can defend, pass, and attack. Great player.
