Gerrard a good choice as skipper?

It seems to be a curse. You make someone England skipper and their career never seems to recover. How will Gerrard fair as England skipper?

Not sure he will make a good Captain, doesnt appear to have the drive to spur on other Players, I am sure this will be contested by any 'Pool' Supporters though Big Grin

you are right, he is a great footballer but does he really fit the boots of a great captain. it may be too early to pass judgement on him because he can certainly lift his own game but whether that will spur on his teammates is anybody's guess
