Henry Replacement For Arsenal
With Thiery Henry leaving Arsenal they now need a replacement. Rumours are thick and fast that Martins (Newcastle), Alan Smith (Man Utd), Samuel E'too (Barcelona) or Nicolas Anelka (Man City) are on their lists!!!!

RE: Henry Replacement For Arsenal
I think Arsenal have gotten the best of both ends of this deal. Not only have they had long and high quality service from Henry, but they are also selling him at a point in his career where he has probably just about done his best work and are getting the most they possibly can for him.

They might be best off buying a couple of talented younger players who they can work with and bring on. Better long term prospect, but it doesn't have the immediate appeal that sells shirts and other assorted cr*p that pays the bills.

I think that buying more young players would just be a bad idea. Last season, I think Arsenal didn't do to well because we don't have enough experienced players. I think buying a 24-25 year old would be a good option for Arsenal.

Yes, point taken GU. By young players I meant under 25, not kids of 19 or 20.

Fair enough. It will be interesting to see who Arsene Wenger will buy... or if he will buy anyone.

I don't think they need to buy a new player.
The young talent at Arsenal has enough depth.
I think Arsenal are going to be the surprise package this year.

I think they are going to introduce a new player, probably a young player. he will most likly be like an new football superstar, like Rooney was.

Do you mean a homegrown player, Blue? Looking down the ranks, I do not see anyone like Rooney coming through this season
