Honeymoon over: Spurs return to inconsistency

After a run of great games under new manager Ramos, Spurs fans must be wondering whether the honeymoon period is over and the reality of inconsistent performances looms large once more at White Hart Lane. Business as usual after today's 4-1 hiding to lowly Birmingham.

RE: Honeymoon over: Spurs return to inconsistency

Birmingham looked anything but a relegation battling side as they picked up their first Premier League win of the year, as Spurs came crashing down to earth after their Wembley triumph over Chelsea in the Carling Cup Final and never threatened to fire on all cylinders. Birmingham's 4-1 win saw them complete the 'double' over Spurs, the 1st time in 32 years.

RE: Honeymoon over: Spurs return to inconsistency

i think the point that they got against arsenal has been a real shot in the arm and spurs were expectedly off color after winning some silverware. not totally unexpected that they should come to earth with a thump.
