For those who know of the song sung at Liverpool games, who noticed that Celtic FC in the scottish league has the same song and slogan. Who had it first?

No, never knew that. I have an mp3 of the Kop singing it in full voice somewhere. I'll dig it out and post it in here

I knew they both sang it but after a bit of digging wikipedia states that it started at Liverpool in the early sixties and spread to several other clubs after that!

Oh, thats good, its always good to be the legit owners, I guess you can call it. Not saying any other clubs are copying or anything, but you know.

I think, although Liverpool started the song and made it theirs its always great to hear Celtic fans singing it aswell. Both clubs have fans who are very passionate about the game and their teams respectivly so it is a good song for them both. To be honest it wouldn't suit a team like Chelsea or Arsenal like it suits Liverpool and Celtic

Yea, I was watching the Liverpool, Manchester united match and they were ranting it out.

Yes. It is sung with pride all around the fields of Anfield. Liverpool formed this song. And have it written on their crest too. One of the best football songs in the world.
