Grimsby Town are off to Wembley and so am I. Go to every home and away game to watch them play and haven't missed a game all season and finally get a reward like this, a trip to Wembley to see them play.

We play MK Dongs (BFS) in the final of the JPT (Johnstones Paint Trophy) on the 30th March, next Sunday.

Got my ticket first day they came out and was queing for like 4 hours for them. We've sold over 20,000 of our 25,000 allocation and have asked for some more so we should have 30,000 there.

MK Dongs have sold something like 32,000 but there will probably be loads of prawn sandwich brigades on their side who don't know half the players or songs.

Anyway, you might have heard about how MK Dons were formed, basically taking over Wimbledon, and many fans from other clubs are buying tickets in our end to support the only proper team in the game to victory.

How good it will be to win at Wembley but it will be even better if we beat the Plastics.

Been to the old Wembley twice in 98 with Grimsby, won both times, so this is gonna be ace for me.

Could also go again at the end of the seasons if we get into the play offs and get to the final of them, but won't count my chickens and all that.

It's a great turnaround on the season for Town, especially if they can make it to the play offs too. At one point there were rumours of them going borassic lint. Good luck to 'em

Yup sure is a great turnaround and yesterdays result means we are still in with a good shout of reaching the play offs.

Estimated revenue from the JPT without winning it is around £400K according to Doncaster Rovers who won it last year, so it should help us out massively
