Several news sources are reporting that Ronaldo will be back in a Milan shirt for the first time this season in AC Milan's games against Empoli on Oct 21. Although they knocked in 5 against Lazio on Sunday, they certainly need a boost being now 7 points adrift in the Serie A.

It will be hard for AC Milan to take control of the top spot in Serie A but I think they have enough fire power to close the seven point gap. The top two teams in Serie A, Juventus and Inter are in fine form so will be hard to catch, but still a long way to go in the season, anything can happen.

You are probably right there. AC's situation is much like Chelsea's in the Premiership. Whether they catch the leaders is as much dependent on how many poor losses the leaders concede as it is how many wins Milan/Chelsea notch up
